# Premise

Function X is a growing ecosystem offering many advantages and benefits in DeFi. At the time of writing, three major platforms have been built on top of the Function X ecosystem, namely FxSwap, FOX and MarginX. And in time, more DeFi projects will be launching their platforms on top of Function X, for instance, AlphaDay, Baklava Spaces. As the ecosystem grows with more projects, it would be beneficial for members of the community to have a means to get a “snapshot” of their delegations, positions, holdings across Function X.

Currently, users in the Function X ecosystem would have to open multiple tabs or windows to view their entire portfolio. For example, if a user wants to look at their delegations, the liquidity they provided on FxSwap, their staked liquidity, positions on Margin X, and etc., they would have to open and switch between multiple tabs/windows to get the information they need. At present, there is no “one-stop shop” solution for getting key portfolio metrics from all projects across the ecosystem.

Portfolio X will be a platform that allows Function X community members, to get information on their delegations, positions, and holdings, NFTs in the Function X ecosystem through a single point of contact. Users can expect to examine key portfolio metrics from projects that are built on top of Function X. Additionally, users can also use a simple private notes feature to write down simple notes or reminders.

Portfolio X can also be an avenue for f(x)Core Validators to introduce themselves and showcase their portfolio. This would allow delegators to learn more about who they can delegate to and help them select the validator that best suits their needs. This feature would be dependent on the needs of the community.

Through each iteration of the project, community members and even developers of Function X can contribute to the project. Portfolio X will be a community-led project that is built by the very members of the Function X community.
